Cheap Single Pushchairs
If you're on a tight budget and don't require a stroller that can double up as a car seat carrier the Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It comes with a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop comfortable.
It's simple to push, and it feels solid when you are traversing kerbs and woodland trails. Additionally, it's easy to fold.
1. Babyzen YOYO2
The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a reputation for being the ultimate stroller that is light, ideal for city dwellers as for jet-setters. 2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore
The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a fantastic choice for parents who are looking for an adaptable stroller wagon. It can be converted from a stroller to a wagon by simply turning the handle, so parents can pick the mode they prefer for their trip. The wagon can be used by one or two kids from 6 months to 5 years old, and it comes with a spacious storage basket that can accommodate everything you need on the go.
The Xplore also features dual canopies that rotate from the front to the back, offering ample sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footwell than other wagons. This might not be suitable for long journeys or naps.
The frame on the Xplore is solid and sturdy but it doesn't have the same flexibility as other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult to fold than many of the other models and does not lock tightly when folded. It is easy to maneuver however, and it can be able to fit through narrow 28-inch doors.
3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side
This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and size folded that means it's light, compact when folded and easy to put into a trunk of a car or closet. It also comes with a multi-position reclining seat and a cup holder for the parent. Other key features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels, as well as two large hanging storage bags.
It did better in our push and turn test than many of the other strollers we tested but is still difficult to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades on it were among the tiniest of strollers we tested. They only cover the top and do not feature peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.
The Delta took us just over three minutes to put together using an average manual and all of the components required tools. It's missing certain features we believe are essential in a double stroller. They include a large basket, reclining seats, and adjustable leg rests.
4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1
The Zelia is the latest version of Maxi-Cosi's pushchair range and is described as an urban travel system. It is designed to carry babies from birth to around 3.5 years, converting easily into a seat and carrycot with a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats, and comes with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-in-car base and a reversible carriage.
The seat reclines with one hand and the large shopping basket makes it easy for parents to help their child in and out. Although it is narrow, the pushchair handled the everyday bumps with ease and was able to pass through doorways without a hitch.
The front wheels can be locked into a forward position or let them swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. We let the front wheels to swivel on our walk along the stony path. It was able to handle this well, even though it felt slightly rougher.
5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2
Baby Jogger is best known for its three-wheeled, all-terrain, strollers for jogging. But they also make a broad selection of pushchairs with four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It is simple to fold and fits in the trunk of a car even with an attached carrycot.
It is heavier than the other strollers that we tried, but because it comes with rubber composite wheels it feels solid and well-made. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains, and even with two kids, a shopping bag and other items.
Both the carrycot and seat have hoods that are able to be lower to reveal the UV50and sun canopy extension. They are waterproof and strong unlike other prams' hoods which get bounced back into toddlers faces.
It's not the biggest of storage space, however it does have a big basket that's big enough to hold an infant's changing bag and plenty of food items. You can also connect it with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for infants up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a excellent choice if you wish to use a stroller on the move.
6. Nuna Mixx Next
When the Nuna Mixx first rolled onto the scene it stole the hearts of parents everywhere. It's an aluminium framed stroller that will be with you throughout your baby's initial days and beyond. It's got a lot of standout features, like the capacity of the seat to flip between the front facing parent and the outside and a huge UPF50+ canopy with a flip-out eyeshade, and an adjustable handlebar.
The wheels are durable and foam-filled which minimises punctures. compact single stroller is equipped with built-in suspension that takes the sting out of rough terrain. It was easy to push and our tester was able to maneuver the vehicle through narrow streets.
It folds down in four easy steps and locks automatically without fuss. It can also be rolled and raised for easier transportation down the stairs or in the boot of the car. The travel system is included with the option to add an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors that are included. The brakes are simple to use with single action, colour coded and flip-flop-friendly.
7. Babyzen Duet
This budget single pushchair is surprisingly easy to handle and features an excellent dual suspension system, one-hand fold and a practical carry strap. It's also extremely light and sturdy. The seat can be reclined to many different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress that's suitable for infants.
The canopy/seat has two large sun visors that are fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't perfect it's not as quiet as Velcro and may wake napping babies.
The Duet is a side-byside stroller and can be adapted to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to 22kg max per seat). best single jogging stroller with two infant car seats and can be used with carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be positioned to face each other or rotate around to face the parents, theoretically decreasing sibling fights over who gets to sit with dad and mom. It comes with a massive gear tray, bottle holder, snack trays and a change mat. It also has a superior folding stand that folds down and a frame lock.
8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2
The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger designed for parents who want to keep active. It's one of the lightest running strollers you can get for your child. It comes with excellent safety features such as five-point harnesses and a secure wrist strap. It has a different type of hand brake than other models that are an innovative twist.
The seat is well-padded and has plenty of room to sit in, but the seat's depth is lower than other joggers we've tested (it's about 10"). The storage bin is covered with a zipper that keeps things secure. It can hold up to 10 pounds that is enough for most diaper bags.
The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with infant car seats or bassinets as it comes, but you can use it from day one with the purchase of adapters to most seats from brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It's easy to fold and put together within 5-10 minutes, without tools. The instruction manual is simple to understand and comes in a variety of languages.
